‘My goodness’: Spurs fans question Mourinho over inclusion of Harry Kane against Zagreb

Spurs fans have been reacting on Twitter after Jose Mourinho named his starting XI for tonight’s clash with Dinamo Zagreb.

The North Londoners come into the game with a comfortable lead and will be looking to ease their way into the next round.

Mourinho has opted not to select Gareth Bale for the clash, resting him ahead of the weekend it seems despite his good form in the last few weeks. Lucas Moura once again keeps his slot, while Harry Kane starts, as does Erik Lamela after his wondergoal against Arsenal at the weekend.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is out through suspension, while Toby Alderweireld is also apparently rested. However, to the delight of some Spurs fans, Dele Alli has been included from the off.

But while Alli’s inclusion is a positive, some Spurs fans on Twitter seem to think Mourinho might have gone too strong, especially by including Harry Kane from the off in a game that should be done and dusted.

Here, then, is what some Spurs fans had to say about Mourinho’s starting XI for the clash with Zagreb this evening.
