Janusz Michallik has suggested that Newcastle United forward Miguel Almiron’s displays are going under the radar.
Speaking on ESPN FC, the pundit lauded the Newcastle star as one of Eddie Howe’s hardest-working players.
Newcastle picked up a much-needed win over Fulham yesterday after suffering four consecutive defeats in all competitions beforehand.
The Magpies got back to winning ways thanks to goals from Lewis Miley, Miguel Almiron and Dan Burn.

Bruno Guimaraes has earned plaudits for a commanding display in midfield on Saturday, while Miley grabbed the headlines after netting his first goal for Newcastle.
But Michallik feels that while Almiron doesn’t always earn praise, he says the winger embodies Newcastle’s style of play.
Michallik praises Almiron after Newcastle beat Fulham
Speaking to ESPN, Michallik reflected on Newcastle’s 3-0 win over Fulham and singled out Almiron for praise.
He said: “When you speak about spirit and heart, how can you not mention Miguel Almiron?
“He’s been constant for every manager on this team and maybe not the first one we talk about but if you look for energy and spirit, my goodness, he’s the one.”

Almiron continues to prove to be an important player for Howe, netting five goals and providing one assist so far this term.
It’s no secret that Newcastle have struggled with injuries this season. But the 29-year-old hasn’t missed a single Premier League game.
While Almiron can struggle with productivity in the final third at times, his commitment and work rate aren’t in question. The Paraguay international sets the tone for Newcastle’s high-energy style off the ball.
Howe will undoubtedly be relying on Almiron over the coming weeks to step up for Newcastle as he bids to guide them through an ongoing injury crisis.
The winger has delivered so far and yesterday’s goal should only boost his confidence ahead of the festive period.
