Tottenham lost out to Manchester United yesterday and manager Nuno Santo is once again coming in for more criticism following the game.
The former Wolves boss is struggling to find any sort of consistency with this Tottenham team. A promising start has been completely derailed in recent times, and there are already calls among some fans for him to go.
Daniel Levy once again faces a big decision. However, he’s expected to give Nuno at least a bit more time to see if things turn around.
But Santo is not helping his cause with certain decisions. That’s the opinion anyway of former midfielder and regular MOTD pundit, Danny Murphy.

Writing in his column for the Daily Mail, Murphy admits to being stunned by Santo’s decision to take off Brazilian winger, Lucas Moura.
“I couldn’t believe it when Nuno took off Moura when he was the one player in a Spurs shirt who looked capable of having a go,” Murphy wrote.
“That is when the stadium began to turn toxic. But having watched Kane’s career I don’t doubt his mentality and firmly believe he will come again, if given the tools by Nuno.”
The stadium audibly made their feelings known at the substitution. Boos rang out, just as they did at full-time as Spurs continue to struggle.
TBR’s View: Santo needs to help himself more
What a nightmare yesterday was for Tottenham against United. Nothing worked, and they looked so short of ideas and confidence.
Now, as Murphy writes in his column, Santo must bounce back as Manchester United did with Solskjaer. He needs some big performances, and his big players need to step up as well.
The likes of Kane, Son, and Dier are senior players in this Spurs side. They need to make their mark more and lead from the front. Nuno, then, will now be desperate for a reaction.
