Kevin Mirallas wants to leave Everton to return to his native Belgium this summer, according to a report from Belgian outlet Het Nieuwsblad, via Sport Witness.
They report that three Belgian clubs, Standard Liège, Royal Antwerp and Anderlecht, are all keen on the Everton wideman, who doesn’t want to be at Goodison Park next season.
The report says that Mirallas would have been happy to stay at Fiorentina, the club with which he spent last season on loan, but the Italian outfit don’t want to make another swoop.
Mirallas’ wages are £70,000-a-week at Goodison, according to Spotrac, and the report claims those lofty demands are the biggest barrier to any potential deal.

It’s been quite clear since Marco Silva came in that Mirallas has absolutely no place in his plans. He’s not the right age, his attitude isn’t quite right and the Toffees want to go in a new direction out wide.
But when players are on as much as £70,000 every week, it can be tough to move them on, especially to a club in Belgium, where the league doesn’t have as much money sloshing around in it as the Premier League.
It will likely come down to how much Mirallas is prepared to compromise on his wage demands, and how keen he is to actually leave Everton to play.
