Arsenal fans have urged the club to move for Sam Johnstone in wake of the Aaron Ramsdale talks reportedly collapsing.
According to football.london, the Gunners have pulled out of the deal to sign the Sheffield United stopper.
The outlet claims Arsenal were not prepared to exceed £20million for Ramsdale, while the Blades value him at £30million.

Mikel Arteta’s side reportedly had two previous offers rejected for the 23-year-old following his return from Euro 2020 duty with England.
While Ajax’s Andre Onana is a player many Arsenal fans want, it looks as though the Gunners want a homegrown keeper.
With that in mind, West Brom’s Johnstone ticks quite a few boxes.

The Express reported in July that Arsenal had the Baggies ace in mind in case they couldn’t land Ramsdale.
And with a reported £12million price tag (The Athletic), he’s considerably cheaper than the Blades man.
