Nathaniel Clyne looks set to leave Liverpool, with West Ham reportedly interested in his services and Reds fans have been reacting on Twitter to the defender’s impending departure.

It is claimed by multiple sources that Clyne won’t be offered a short-term deal to play out the season at Anfield.

That means the former Southampton man will leave the club on June 30th at the end of this contract.

The 29-year-old spent the second part of last season out on loan with Bournemouth. A number of injuries, coupled with the emergence of Trent Alexander-Arnold, has meant Clyne has dropped down the pecking order under Jurgen Klopp.

West Ham are apparently keen on landing the former England man. Clyne has 14 caps for his country but is now a long way off being considered by Gareth Southgate for the Three Lions.

Despite this, it seems some Liverpool fans are a bit gutted for Clyne. A number of Reds fans have taken to Twitter to express their disappointment and give thanks for the full-back.

Here, then, is what some Liverpool fans had to say as Nathaniel Clyne looks set to depart the club.
