‘Moyes you baffle me’: West Ham fans react to Said Benrhama only getting Liverpool cameo

West Ham narrowly lost out to Liverpool this evening as Diogo Jota came off the bench to ensure the Reds’ winning run at Anfield continued.

Pablo Fornals had given the Hammers the lead inside ten minutes but a Mo Salah penalty, followed by Jota’s goal after he saw one disallowed moments earlier, were enough to send Liverpool back top.

For West Ham, it was another gutsy and encouraging display under David Moyes, who seems to have got his team into a well-drilled way of playing in recent weeks.

But some Hammers fans couldn’t understand the decision to introduce Said Benrahma so late for his debut. The former Brentford man given only a few minutes with Liverpool 2-1 up.

Twitter was awash with comments from Hammers supporters questioning that decision from Moyes. It’s safe to say, then, that some West Ham fans were not too happy at not seeing more of their new man.
