David Moyes labelled Jesse Lingard fantastic following West Ham United’s win on Monday night, before sharing what he told the Irons loanee as he came off the Molineux pitch – in comments reported by Football London.
Lingard picked up where he left off before the international break. West Ham, once again, stormed into a 3-0 lead during the first-half to stun Wolves.

The opening goal came from an outrageous run from Lingard. A superb move from Michail Antonio created the space for the 28-year-old to dart into the box and beat Rui Patricio.
He also set up Jarrod Bowen for what proved to be the winning goal. And following the game, Moyes suggested that he could not be happier with his performance.

“He was fantastic tonight,” he said, as reported by Football London. “For 20-30 minutes he was incredibly good and for the rest of it, he was a team player. I told him coming off how well he played.”
Lingard’s record since his move to the London Stadium is sensational. The attacking midfielder has scored six goals and contributed three assists in eight league games.
And his form has helped inspire West Ham back into the top four in the Premier League table.
His performances are forcing the Hammers’ hand ahead of the summer. Should he continue on this path, there is no way that Moyes’s men cannot ask about a permanent deal at the end of the campaign.
The downside however, is his asking price is probably only increasing every time he gets out on the pitch at the moment.
