A number of Arsenal fans have praised Joel Ideho’s display for the Gunners Under-23s on Friday night.

The striker then slotted across the keeper and into the net from a tight angle for his seventh of the season.

Arsenal conceded just before the break, Lorent Tolaj tapping home from close range.

The Gunners couldn’t find a second and so the game finished all square.

The result sees Arsenal’s U23s stay fourth in the Premier League 2 table.

Football.london’s Chris Wheatley shared a clip of Arsenal’s goal on Twitter.

While Biereth got praise for his finish, some supporters also praised Ideho’s assist and movement.

One fan even compared him to Bukayo Saka.

Here’s what some Arsenal fans said about the 18-year-old:

Ideho joined Arsenal in 2020 from Ajax’s famed academy, initially linking up with the Gunners Under-18s.

Now in the Under-23s, the Dutchman has made nine appearances in PL2 and the EFL Trophy this season.
