Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has been praised by Aston Villa captain and England teammate Jack Grealish for his efforts in the Gunners’ Europa League victory on Thursday night.
The 19-year-old has been sensational since making his first-team breakthrough for Arsenal last season, becoming one of the first names on Mikel Arteta’s teamsheet.
And on Thursday night, Saka – back on the right wing – delivered another amazing display as the Gunners made light work of Slavia Prague in their quarter-final second leg.
The opposition back line had no answer to the Three Lions forward’s movement and vision as he caused havoc and got on the scoresheet to put Arsenal three up.
And Grealish was impressed with Saka’s efforts, lauding him on his Instagram story:
Nicolas Pepe opened the scoring on 18 minutes, and Alexandre Lacazette netted a brace – his second a penalty – either side of Saka’s 24th-minute effort.
Arsenal’s 4-0 victory in Prague sees them go through 5-1 on aggregate and book a semi-final tie with Villarreal, managed by former Gunners boss Unai Emery.
The first leg takes place in Spain on April 29, before the return leg at the Emirates on May 6.
