Moussa Sissoko has three-word Instagram praise for Tottenham 25-year-old
Moussa Sissoko has praised Tottenham star Harry Winks on Instagram after the midfielder helped Spurs beat Mura – posting a three-word verdict.
Winks, 25, was brought back into the Tottenham side from the start after failing to play a single minute in his side’s previous four games.
The England midfielder was an unused substitute against Rennes and Chelsea, and completely ousted from the squad against Wolves and Arsenal.
But on Thursday night, he combined with Oliver Skipp and Dele Alli as Spurs cruised to a 5-1 win. The English trio worked together well.
Spurs led 2-0 through Dele and Gio Lo Celso. Mura got one back, and the big guns came on – Harry Kane netting a hat-trick inside 20 minutes.
He got the assist for Lo Celso’s first goal of the season, which the Argentine lashed into the top corner. Winks posted on Instagram after the game.
What has Sissoko said to Tottenham star Winks on Instagram?
Sissoko chose to leave Tottenham in the summer. He moved to Watford, after realising the pecking order in the middle of the park under Nuno.
Tottenham did not sign a central midfielder, but they have brought in Skipp after a loan at Norwich – and dropped Dele deeper, more of a no.8.
It has also seen Winks drop down the rankings at Spurs, and clearly, Sissoko has sympathy for the homegrown Tottenham talent.
Reacting to his Instagram post, Sissoko praised Winks with a three-word comment: “Well done son”.
