A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to praise Moussa Sissoko’s performance as Jose Mourinho’s Spurs played out a draw in their return to Premier League action.
The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium played host to Spurs against Manchester United, both sides’ first competitive game for three months following the hiatus due to the global health crisis.
The North Londoners took the lead in the first half through Steven Bergwijn’s superb effort, but were pegged back in the 81st minute for a share of the spoils.

Bruno Fernandes helped his side back into the game with his successful penalty after Paul Pogba was brought down by Eric Dier in the Spurs box.
Sissoko was one of four players brought back into the starting XI who were injured at the time of the league’s suspension, along with Bergwijn, Son Heung-min and Harry Kane.
The Frenchman put in a great display, resuming his commanding role in the centre of the park after his layoff, providing cover defensively and pressure offensively.
Following his four-month layoff, he could’ve been forgiven for being rusty, but despite maybe not being that sharp, he nonetheless gave his all and showed why he’s so important to Spurs.
Here is what some Tottenham fans made of the £30m man‘s performance:
