'When it clicks': Morgan Gibbs-White has a warning for Aston Villa ahead of tonight

Morgan Gibbs-White has said that Nottingham Forest fans can look forward to things clicking soon, potentially against Aston Villa tonight.

The former Wolves midfielder has yet to really get going this season after a blistering loan spell with Sheffield United last term saw him earn a huge move to the City Ground. Despite being a regular for Steve Cooper, Gibbs-White’s form has been similar to that of the entire team.

However, Gibbs-White is in confident mood ahead of tonight’s clash with Villa and has warned that when things click, Forest will be a different team.

“It’s been hard, the games that we’ve lost. Because we’ve gone into every game confident, in training we’ve been working so hard. We’re confident in training, the morale is so high. It’s just about fixing the little fine details in the games that are going to fix us really,” Gibbs-White said on Sky.

“We go into this game in full confidence, wanting to take three points. The fans deserve it, the manager deserves it and we deserve it as well. We’ve been working hard so like I say when it clicks, it’s going to click.”

TBR’s View: Gibbs-White Key For Nottingham Forest

Anyone who watched Gibbs-White last season will know the talent he possesses and it is surely only a matter of time before he gets going for Forest.

It’s nice to hear him in confident mood but Villa will be a resolute challenge tonight and the longer things stay at 0-0 then the more nervous the City Ground will become.

Forest need a win desperately in all honesty. If they lose the game tonight or even draw without scoring, then Forest fans will start to really worry. They’ll be hoping, then, that Gibbs-Whites thoughts come true.
