Morgan Gibbs-White made his first Premier League start of 2019 at the weekend and proved to Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Nuno Espirito Santo that he’s no flash in the pan.
The 19-year-old is a product of the club’s academy and has been involved in 25 senior games this campaign, with a large portion of them coming from the bench.
He’s a versatile midfielder that can be deployed further forward and has real attacking instincts, with his quick dribbling and range of passing key to his game.
The England Under-19 international received a lot of hype earlier in the season for his eye-catching display, including an excellent performance in a win over Chelsea.
But the teenager’s progress appeared to stall in the last few months, as he struggled for regular minutes under Nuno.

Gibbs-White has given an indication into his quality by delivering a top performance in the 2-0 win over Cardiff City at the weekend.
The all-action midfielder was crucial in the build-up to the opening goal with a smart touch outside of the box and he’s got the awareness to play in Wolves’ attacking system.
He’s going to be inconsistent at times as he develops at a young age, but fans can feel confident when he’s on the pitch and expect many more great things from him.
