Wolverhampton Wanderers youngster Morgan Gibbs-White wouldn’t suit a loan move, according to the club’s sporting director Kevin Thelwell.
There has been talk about the teenager’s future recently with him having played a bit-part role in Wolves’ season so far, with some suggesting the ace’s development has stalled a little bit.
Gibbs-White has made nine appearances in all competitions so far, including three Europa League qualifying matches.

Currently he has the likes of Joao Moutinho, Ruben Neves and Leander Dendoncker for competition in midfield, making regular game time hard to come by.
In the eyes of Thelwell though, the England U21 star is in the right place.
He said (quoted by Express & Star): “We see him as a very, young player who will add more game time this season with us in Europe. I don’t think he has stalled at all. He’s in the right place with Nuno. He’s a top talent and going to be a fantastic player.”
Gibbs-White started last night’s Europa League match against Slovan Bratislava.
TBR’s view – Gibbs-White perfectly placed
Thelwell is right – Gibbs-White is in the best place right now.

The talented and versatile 19-year-old has been used sparingly in the Premier League so far but as the season wears on he should get more time out on the pitch in the league.
The club’s Europa League exploits are bound to take their toll, and the fact that Espirito Santo works with a relatively small squad means Gibbs-White should have chances to prove himself.
