According to Eurosport, Aston Villa have agreed an £8.75 million deal with Kasimpasa to sign Mahmoud Hassan, known as Trezeguet.
The winger has impressed this summer for Egypt at the African Cup of Nations. The 24-year-old has also just enjoyed a fine domestic campaign with Turkish club Kasimpasa. The No. 7 registered nine goals and nine assists in 34 Super Lig appearances.
The 41-cap Egypt international has bags of potential and is now ready to take the next step in his career. A move to the Premier League would truly test Trezeguet. He certainly has some attributes that could see him shine in English football though. Trezeguet is a skilful attacking dribbler with lots of pace and flair. He would certainly add a new dimension to Aston Villa’s attack.

Dean Smith has already been busy this summer as he prepares the Villans for their return to the top flight. Trezeguet could become yet another arrival at Villa Park who will be tasked with ensuring the Midlands outfit survive and thrive in the top flight.
If the deal for Trezeguet is done then it’ll be an exciting signing for Villa. Following the reports of an agreement over a price being reached, plenty of Villa fans took to Twitter give their views on the Egyptian.
