‘Monster’: Illan Meslier and Leeds players laud Gjanni Alioski on Instagram

Leeds produced a masterclass in devastating attacking football last night to see of West Brom and continue their fine opening half to the season.

The Whites simply blew away the Baggies and won out 5-0 in the end, with the likes of Jack Harrison, Gjanni Alioski, and Raphinha among the players to impress for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

Among those names mentioned, £2.25m signing Alioski was one who caught the eye. His goal was a thunderbolt of a strike and, arguably, it was his finest performance of the season in a Leeds shirt this term.

And when he took to Instagram to express his delight at the result and performance, a number of Leeds stars took time out to sing the praises and laud Alioski’s goal and display.

Alioski is clearly a popular player, and the likes of Kalvin Phillips, Luke Ayling, and Illan Meslier all took time out to have their say.

Indeed, Meslier even went as far as to call the Leeds star a ‘monster’ after his display.

There was a point this season where Alioski looked like he might not play too much of a part in the campaign but in the last few weeks he’s really come into things.

He looks excellent down that left-hand side for the Whites and Marcelo Bielsa must be delighted with what he is seeing.

His goal was a stunner and his performance overall was that of a seasoned Premier League player. Excellent stuff indeed.
