Wolverhampton Wanderers travelled to Stamford Bridge on Sunday and a strong defensive display was nearly rewarded with three points.

Raul Jimenez had given Wolves the lead on the counter-attack but a late Eden Hazard strike ensured the points were shared.

Nonetheless, it was an impressive defensive performance by Wolves, who currently sit seventh in the Premier League and are in pole position to finish in a Europa League spot.

The Frenchman made five tackles, three blocks, three interceptions, 10 clearances and won one aerial duel, according to Who Scored.

Boly continued to frustrate the Chelsea attack for the entirety of the game and it took a moment of magic from Hazard to finally break the visitors down.

Wolves fans took to social media to praise Boly after the match. The 28-year-old has been a key player for Wolves all season and yesterday showed exactly why.

Here are some opinions from Wolves fans who were discussing Boly’s performance against Chelsea.
