Monchi is reportedly determined to sign 18-year-old Besiktas wonderkid Semih Kilicsoy for Aston Villa this year.

The Spanish transfer guru has impressed in his first few months in his new role at Villa, with Monchi having an outstanding working relationship with Unai Emery.

With Villa sat third in the Premier League, the Birmingham-based club can make quite the statement this January if they can get a number of quality signings through the front door.

And according to En Son Haber, one player Monchi is eager to bring in is Kilicsoy, who is viewed at Besiktas as ‘the shining star’ of the current senior squad.

The teenage attacker has been in sensational form for the Turkish giants in recent weeks, with Kilicsoy scoring five goals and claiming an assist in his last four Super Lig games for Besiktas.

Indeed, given Kilicsoy’s recent scoring form, it’s no real surprise why Villa are interested in signing the youngster, and a move this summer could be an ideal opportunity for Monchi to unleash his plan.

Villa have been blessed with attacking players in recent years from Jack Grealish to Ollie Watkins, and Kilicsoy could become the next name to explode onto the scene at Villa Park.

The Turkish teenager has been outstanding in recent weeks for Bestikas and is rightly being linked with a major move to the Premier League in the form of Villa.

And for Monchi, the Spanish transfer operator must do all he can to bring Kilicsoy to Villa Park, with the Turkish wonderkid showing all the signs of becoming an incredible forward in the years to come.
