Moise Kean will surely love to play with mentor as Zlatan Ibrahimovic is linked

Everton have been linked with what would be one of the biggest shock transfers in recent times, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic reportedly on their radar.

Area Napoli is reporting that Everton are hoping to bring the Swedish legend to Goodison Park on a free transfer in January following his exit from LA Galaxy.

Everton would reportedly make him their highest-paid player and would have to beat off strong competition from AC Milan to secure his signature.

It could also be a big plus for Everton’s struggling striker Moise Kean. Despite being extra competition for the £29 million summer signing, it could ultimately see him being mentored by a player Kean has already admitted a fondness for.

The duo share the same agent in Mino Raiola and Kean told Tuttosport in 2017, as reported by Football Italia, of his admiration for the Swedish star.

“Raiola? Mino always tells me to play my football and look up to a champion like Ibrahimovic.

“He introduced us, and I get on well with him. I’d like to have Ibra’s sincerity in his work and ruthlessness.”

Whilst Zlatan may make it even harder for Kean to get first-team minutes, he could be a wonderful tutor and mentor for the talented Italian international if they were to work together at Finch Farm.

It could be a huge benefit for the 19-year-old in the long-term.
