Mo Salah has clarified his comments after Manchester United lost 4-0 at Anfield last night.
Salah has scored five times against his side’s bitterest rivals this season, as they have won 9-0 across their two games with them.
Salah’s post-match comments were misinterpreted as saying that United’s players make life easier for Liverpool.

But he has taken to Twitter to say that he meant Liverpool’s defence and midfield makes life easier for the front players.
Salah was stood alongside midfielder Thiago, who had also paid tribute to the front players and it was a deserved love-in after a comprehensive win.
Salah has underlined his respect for United’s players, despite the fact that the game was never really a serious contest.
Next up for Liverpool is the Merseyside derby at home to Everton, where the Reds again could face a game not as intense as other past clashes with the same rival.
Frank Lampard’s side are in awful form away from home and are in genuine danger of relegation into the Championship.
But Liverpool will likely be as professional as they always are, and it would be a huge shock if there was any other outcome than a home win.
