Mohamed Elneny believes his international teammate Mo Salah should not be looking to leave Liverpool.
It has recently been boldly claimed by El Desmarque that Real Madrid are looking to swoop for the Egyptian winger, who has become a world-class player over the past couple of years at Anfield.
Salah has scored a highly impressive 90 goals in just 140 Reds appearances. He also has 37 assists.
Inevitably that has seen Salah become linked with a move to Real, but in the eyes of Elneny, he should stay at Anfield.
“He’s a superstar at Liverpool. If I were him, I’d stay at Liverpool.
“You see Eden Hazard is struggling at Real after he moved from Chelsea.
“I don’t know what he thinks inside but I would definitely stay at Liverpool.
“Liverpool fans love him. He’s scoring goals. He’s on course to become a Liverpool great and I think that’s perfect.”
Former Chelsea star Hazard has found the going tough since arriving at the Bernabeu last summer – the £400,000-a-week Belgian superstar (Daily Mail), currently nursing a fractured ankle, has scored just once in 15 appearances.
TBR’s view – Salah is perfectly placed
Elneny is right to advise Elneny to stay at Liverpool.
The lure of Real Madrid and Barcelona will always be massive, but at this moment in time, Anfield is the place to be.
There are world-class players being organised by a world-class manager, with a world-class recruitment team.
Salah would be one brave man to think he could have it better somewhere else.
