Back in January, Liverpool were strongly linked with a move for Red Bull Salzburg striker Moanes Dabour.
According to Tutto Mercato Web, Dabour was waiting for Jurgen Klopp to snap him up after deciding to leave RB Salzburg.
But he instead moved to La Liga side Sevilla before rejoining RB Salzburg on loan until the end of this season.
And last night, he reminded everyone of his goal scoring talents by netting a late goal in RB Salzburg’s 4-0 win over Club Brugge.
This goal took the 26-year-old’s tally to 22 goals in 36 games – an impressive return in any league.

And 11 of those goals have come in Europe, with four in four Champions League matches and seven strikes in eight Europa League games.
Moreover, the Israel international has netted twice for his country this season, further underlining his threat in front of goal.
Liverpool did not necessarily need a striker in January with Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane an established front three for Klopp.
But Dabour might have been an interesting option for the future, especially if the likes of Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi leave Liverpool.
Instead, Dabour will try his luck in Spain when the 2019/20 season starts, hoping to repeat his goal scoring exploits for Sevilla.
