Leeds United are on the verge of signing Patrick Bamford from Middlesbrough and it seems a winger is also on the cusp of joining. Jack Harrison is set to join Leeds on a season-long loan from Manchester City – according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.
There has long been talk that Marcelo Bielsa’s arrival at Leeds could lead to recruits joining from Manchester City, due to the Argentine’s good relationship with Pep Guardiola. That now appears to have paid off, with Harrison on his way.
The majority of fans on Twitter have taken the news well. The right-sided winger, who cuts into his predominant left foot, is an exciting young talent. Leeds needed more wide options and Harrison can play from either flank.

Powerful, skillful and super fit, Harrison is what Bielsa will demand.
Others shared some concern. Harrison could not get a run of games at Middlesbrough during a loan spell last season. Other Leeds fans understandably know very little about the young winger. He spent most of his career in the United States playing for New York City, so they have not seen a lot of him in action.
But overall Leeds fans seem to be pleased with the deal. Pep Guardiola is believed to be a fan of the player and Leeds must take that as the ultimate blessing.
Here is some of the best reaction from Twitter…
