'Miss you': Tottenham stars, Lamela and Vinicius send messages to player Nuno sold
Joe Hart won his first trophy as a Celtic player since being cast side by Nuno Espirito Santo at Tottenham in the summer. Beating Hibernian 2-1, he posted on Instagram – prompting reacts from Spurs players and more.
Hart, 34, joined Celtic in the summer from Tottenham. Nuno and Fabio Paratici decided to cut Hart’s two-year contract in half and allow him to join the Hoops. Italy international Pierluigi Gollini was brought in on loan.
But since then, Gollini has struggled in the Europa Conference League and offered little-to-no competition to Hugo Lloris. Meanwhile, Hart has already played 30 times in all competitions for Celtic – keeping 14 clean sheets.
Alongside the clean sheets, he now has a trophy. Despite going 1-0 behind to Hibs as Paul Hanlon scored, Japan international Kyogo Furuhashi rescued Celtic with a brilliant brace at Hampden Park on Sunday.
What have Lamela, Vinicius and Tottenham stars said to Celtic ace Hart?
It seems a move north of the border has revitalised Hart, who had failed to find a proper home since Pep Guardiola axed him at Manchester City. Burnley, Torino, West Ham and then Spurs followed – before Celtic.
Responding to one of Hart’s posts on Instagram following the League Cup triumph, Tottenham stars Matt Doherty and Dele Alli informed Hart they both “miss” and “love” him. Lamela and Vinicius also responded.
