Arsenal take on Liverpool in the Premier League this weekend and if rumours are to be believed, the Gunners have been handed a big boost.

Mikel Arteta’s men have recovered after a shocking start to the season. Arsenal were down at the bottom of the league table after losing each of their first three league games, but they have looked a different side since.

The Gunners are unbeaten in 10 games in all competitions and Arteta’s men will go to Anfield with more confidence than they’ve had in recent years.

To make things better for them, Liverpool may not be at their best this weekend.

Liverpool injuries: Five players could miss Arsenal clash

Roberto Firmino has been ruled out for a number of weeks after picking up a serious hamstring injury. Jordan Henderson was sent back to Liverpool from the England camp due to a niggle of his own.

Sadio Mane, who loves scoring against Arsenal, is a big doubt too. The attacker was forced off the pitch due to an injury when Senegal faced Togo a few days ago. Naby Keita is also expected to miss the game due to a hamstring injury. (Liverpool Echo)

To make it worse for Liverpool fans, Andy Robertson picked up an injury last night. The Scotland skipper went down in pain in the 79th minute and had to be replaced. He is now a doubt for the game against the Gunners as well. (Mirror)

Arsenal fans react

Liverpool haven’t confirmed any of the injuries just yet, they’re just rumours at this point. However, that hasn’t stopped Reds fans from worrying about the game this weekend.

Most Arsenal supporters, on the other hand, don’t believe this for one second. Many took to Twitter to have their say on the rumour and it’s fair to say, almost all of them believe that Jurgen Klopp will name a full-strength side on Saturday.

Here’s how a few of them reacted…
