‘Mind blowing’: Liverpool fans loved Virgil van Dijk’s latest tweet

Liverpool fans have been loving it this morning after star defender Virgil van Dijk took to Twitter to share some more images of his ongoing recovery.

The big Dutchman is working his way back to fitness after his horror injury in the Merseyside derby earlier in the campaign.

Liverpool have since struggled at the back without him and Joe Gomez, although they remain in the title hunt and have had the likes of Fabinho and Jordan Henderson stepping up to the plate.

But Van Dijk posted to Twitter today to show more of his recovery, stating ‘the hard work continues’ as he pushes to try and be back before the end of the current season.

Predictably, Liverpool fans were loving what they were seeing and some of the replies to Van Dijk suggest his return can’t come soon enough.
