Newcastle United have reportedly been contacted by Russian club Akhmat Grozny about their defender Milad Mohammadi.
According to the Daily Mail, the Magpies have been offered the chance to sign the 25-year-old speed machine.
Rafael Benitez’s side should seize the opportunity with both hands to land the left-back, who could be a brilliant solution at St James’ Park.
Newcastle don’t have any natural replacements for Paul Dummett at left-back and have had to use different players in that position during his injury absences.
Mohammadi could be great competition in the full-back area and a deal seems very much on the cards if the Premier League team want it.

Mohammadi is renowned as an attack-minded defender and often sprints forward with his lightning pace.
The left-back is a technical player that would fit the wing-back role much better than Dummett and still has great potential.
He has also been capped 25 times by Iran at senior level which included appearances at the World Cup and has the added weapon of a long throw-in.
Newcastle need to find somebody to push Dummett for his spot in the XI and Mohammadi could turn out to be an excellent January addition if he joins.
