Thomas Partey is going to be a big player at Arsenal moving forward, according to his teammate Kieran Tierney.
Gunners defender Tierney, 24, has shown his support for his teammate with some kind words.
“Great player with massive quality. Will be brilliant for us going forward,” Tierney responded when asked about Partey’s ability.
Partey, who was signed by Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta during last summer’s window, had a mixed debut campaign at the Emirates Stadium.
The 28-year-old midfielder arrived from Atletico Madrid with a huge reputation, so he was expected to hit the ground running.
However, it was very much a stop-start campaign.
The powerhouse defensive midfielder had a couple of separate injuries disrupt his rhythm. In addition, his form seemed to suffer as a result.

Arsenal should expect better version of Partey
It’s hardly a surprise that some players have found it difficult moving countries in the middle of a global pandemic.
Arsenal invested £45million in Partey, which is why ultimately he’ll come under the microscope. But, the jury should be out on him until a few months into the 2021/22 campaign.
He’s shown what he can do on the top stage with Atletico, and he’s got all the tools needed to really strengthen the north London club in the centre of the park.
The midfield enforcer is someone to keep a close eye on in the new season.
