Mikel Arteta is preparing his Arsenal team to face West Ham this weekend as he looks to build on the win over Liverpool last week.
A lot has been made of the Gunners’ win and especially, how they went about celebrating it.
However, it’s back to business now for Arsenal and Arteta and the Spanish coach knows his team face a stiff test against David Moyes’ experienced Hammers side.
And speaking of Moyes, Arteta had nothing but kind words for the Scottish manager in his pre-match presser this afternoon.

Mikel Arteta shares his verdict on David Moyes
Speaking ahead of the game, Arteta admitted that he admires Moyes and believes what he’s done with West Ham is simply incredible.
“He’s a really experienced manager who’s extremely good at getting the best out of his team. He does it in various ways. He’s extremely good at managing the group, he’s a really competitive manager who understands when you get an edge in the game and wait for the moments in the game to punish you. His trajectory and what he’s done at West Ham is incredible,” Arteta said.
Respect
Of course, Arteta and Moyes might be at different ends of the spectrum when it comes to their managerial careers but for Arteta, there is a clear respect there.
Both are formerly of Everton so share common ground in that sense and it’s obvious from these comments that Arteta has a lot of times for the 60-year-old West Ham boss.
Naturally, Moyes and his team will be looking to make things hard for the Gunners. Arteta will know that will be the game plan and will be hoping the likes of Jarrod Bowen have quiet days as well.
However, Arsenal should have enough really in this one and Arteta can then share a nice glass of wine with Moyes after the game with three points secured.
