Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has waxed lyrical about Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, saying what he’s done over the years for Spurs and England has been “incredible”.
The Gunners boss was speaking about Kane in wake of the widespread media reports claiming he’s asked to leave Tottenham this summer.
Kane has enjoyed another outstanding campaign, registering 32 goals and 16 assists in all competitions, with 22 goals and 13 assists coming in the Premier League.

However, Spurs will once again finish the season empty-handed, the north Londoners’ major trophy drought stretching 13 years and counting.
And according to Sky Sports, the England captain has told his club that he wants out this summer.
When asked by football.london what kind of player Kane is, Arteta responded: “I suffered him both ways: as a player and as a manager.
“I think English football should be so proud to have someone with his talent, with his quality and as well with his consistency.
“I think what he’s been able to do over the years in that position in this league, it’s incredible.
“The national team has someone to hanging into him and it gives you the opportunity to compete against any team because you know that he can win the game for you at any moment. That’s big words in football.”
The outlet then asked whether Arsenal could buy Kane, and Arteta responded: “I don’t know if Harry Kane is leaving Spurs. I think he is still there.
“If he wants to leave, he will try to make the best decision for himself, I am sure.”

It’s frightening to see just how much Kane, great as he already is, continues to improve.
Not only is his goal tally as high as ever, but his assist tally has also gone right up and his overall play is simply unbelievable.
But at the same time, he’s now in his peak years as a striker, and it’s little surprise to hear he’s reportedly eager to leave Spurs.
