Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has claimed that Aaron Ramsdale’s reaction after the Liverpool defeat was odd.
The Gunners boss went on to suggest that his first-choice goalkeeper needs to grow thicker skin.
Ramsdale has been sensational for most of the season, helping Arsenal maintain a Premier League top-four challenge.

Prior to the Liverpool game at the Emirates, the 23-year-old had conceded just 20 goals in 23 top-flight appearances.
The summer signing has also kept 15 clean sheets for Mikel Arteta’s side.
However, Ramsdale should’ve done much better for Liverpool’s first goal at the Emirates on Wednesday.
Diogo Jota took a shot towards the near post from a tight angle, which should’ve been a fairly routine save.
Ramsdale didn’t get enough on it to keep it out, the effort coming off his hand and finding the back of the net.
The England international looked shaky after that, and Roberto Firmino then went on to score Liverpool’s second.
Arsenal have an opportunity to make amends right away.
The Gunners head to Aston Villa for Saturday’s early Premier League kickoff.
“It’s about how you react”
At his pre-match press conference, Arteta spoke about Ramsdale, offering him some words of advice.
“Oddly he was gutted after the match,” said the Arsenal boss.
“It’s normal because he’s such a competitive boy, but he needs to realise that this is going to happen in your career.
“At this stage, and if you play for the national team, probably you are going to have a moment when you do something.
“And then instead of some part of the country, it will be the whole country (on your back).
“If you want to be at the top for 10, 15 or 20 years you have to be prepared for that.
“It’s about how you react in those moments.”

Ramsdale has been superb all season, but even the best goalkeepers will make the odd mistake now and then.
Early in the game, the Arsenal stopper made a fine save from Virgil van Dijk.
Ramsdale is made of tough stuff anyway, plus he’s young and will learn from it.
There’s no doubt he’s on the right path to become a world-class keeper in the coming years.
