Ahead of what is expected to be a quiet January transfer window for Mikel Arteta and Arsenal, the club seem pretty set on their plans.
As well as any potential incomings, it also seems pretty firm that there won’t be drastic departures for the club in January either.

And that is particularly important in the case of Jakub Kiwior.
Arsenal signed the Poland international for £20m in January of this year, and he is now making steady progress with the first team.
However, with the 23-year-old yet to earn a permanent starting role, it appears some of Europe’s elite have sensed an opportunity.
AC Milan are said to be very interested in signing Kiwior in January.
But according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Arsenal and Mikel Arteta have made it very clear that Kiwior won’t be leaving in January.
The information says that Kiwior will finish the season with Arsenal unless something exceptional happens in the following weeks.
Milan have repeatedly asked for information about a deal, only to be rebuffed by the North London club.
Mikel Arteta refuses to lose promising Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior in January
Of course, many fans will probably consider this a wise decision.
Because of injuries to both Jurrien Timber and Takehiro Tomiyasu this season, Kiwior does look the closest player to disrupting Arsenal’s back four.

The centre-back has enjoyed stints replacing Gabriel Magalhaes in the middle, as well playing an inverted role at left-back.
Kiwior looks to be gaining confidence by the game, and is proving a very versatile option for The Gunners.
There’s no doubt that Arteta’s Arsenal team would be weaker if Kiwior departed in January, they’d have to seek a replacement.
Therefore, it simply makes no sense for Arsenal to create unnecessary commotion mid-season, plus Kiwior is a promising option long-term too.
Perhaps the only January business Arsenal should be considering is dependent on two different departures.
Thomas Partey and Emile Smith Rowe are both said to have a lot of interest, players not fulfilling a big role due to their injuries.
And it increasingly feels as if Arsenal would be willing to sell the duo for the right price, players who perhaps want bigger roles than that available.
Although things are expected to be quiet, any sale could suddenly result in Arsenal launching an audacious £85m bid for a player they are tracking in Europe.
