Mikel Arteta has suggested that he is hopeful that Alexandre Lacazette will be available for Arsenal’s clash with Wolves on Tuesday, in comments reported by Football London.
Lacazette had to come off in the final stages of the Gunners’ goalless draw with Manchester United on Saturday.

The Frenchman landed awkwardly after going up for a header and falling over Harry Maguire. He walked off the pitch, but he did not look to be comfortable by any means.
Lacazette has been one of Arsenal’s most impressive performers in recent months. And with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang absent for the last couple of games, it would be a big blow for Arsenal to lose the 29-year-old for any period.

But when asked about the striker on Monday, Arteta insisted that he is optimistic.
“We have to follow the protocols, we have to test him and make an x-ray,” he said, as reported by Football London. “He was completely fine after the game, he was fine yesterday, he has slept well and I’m expecting him to be available.”
Lacazette has scored seven goals in all competitions since the previous meeting with Wolves. And he seems to have linked up superbly with the crop of youngsters who had driven Arsenal out of their rut.
So it would be a huge boost to have him available to take on Wolves tomorrow. He seems to have taken on a leadership role lately.
And with Aubameyang out for the time-being, Arsenal could really do with his experience leading the line against Nuno Espirito Santo’s men.
