Mikel Arteta has claimed that Bukayo Saka has everything needed to get even better as the Arsenal youngster continues to shine for the Gunners – in comments reported by Football London.

Saka produced another outstanding performance as the Gunners beat Leeds 4-2 on Sunday. The 19-year-old caused all sorts of problems for Gjanni Alioski.

He won one penalty and was arguably unlucky to see another overturned. And he was part of a front four that gave the visitors a torrid time in the first-half at the Emirates.

It is remarkable to look at how consistently impressive Saka has been. But following the win, Arteta insisted that there could be a lot more to come from the teenager.

“He’s playing really, really well, he can still get much better,” he said, as reported by Football London. “He’s got that room he’s got the intelligence and he’s got the desire.

“His aim has to be to do better to score more goals, to be more efficient in the final third and as well a lot of things defensively he has to do a lot better, improve them day by day because he’s got the ability.”

It is a scary thought to suggest that Saka – who earns around £40,000-a-week, according to the Daily Mail – can get even better. But given his age, there is every reason to think that Arteta will be proved right in the coming years.

He has already confirmed his status as one of the best youngsters in the Premier League. And there are few players anywhere in the division who are more exciting.

For example, just four teenagers have scored Premier League goals this season. Saka has five. The other three – including Wolves’ Fabio Silva and Mason Greenwood of Manchester United – have just four between them.
