Leeds United battled to a hard-fought 2-0 win over Bristol City yesterday, despite an injury crisis at the club. The West Yorkshire side had to hand a debut to young goalkeeper Will Huffer because of Jamal Blackman’s season-ending leg break and a knee injury to Bailey Peacock-Farrell. Meanwhile, with Luke Ayling, Gaetano Berardi and Pontus Jansson all injured, a centre-back needed to be brought into the fold.
Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa again showed his willingness to give youngsters a chance by giving Aapo Halme a chance in the starting XI.
The Finland youth international started the game at Elland Road and it is fair to say that Leeds fans were impressed by the composed Finn.

Before the game, one of the few ex-Finland players to have featured for Leeds was effusive in his praise.
Mikael Forsell had this to say on Twitter about his former HJK Helsinki team-mate.:
Forsell, who failed to score in 15 appearances under Simon Grayson and then Neil Warnock, went on to insist Halme’s talents go far beyond his 6ft 4ins frame:
Forsell never quite made it happen at Leeds. Much like his compatriot Mika Varynen, they failed to put Finland on the map at Elland Road.
Halme will hope he can fare better after this impressive debut.
