Mika Biereth has named Gabriel Martinelli ahead of Bukayo Saka as the best player in Arsenal training.

The Gunners have one of the best squads in Europe, and their training sessions must be extremely competitive. Young Biereth had a few opportunities to be involved, and he was blown away by Arsenal star Martinelli.

Mika Biereth says Gabriel Martinelli is the best player in Arsenal training

Arsenal signed Gabriel Martinelli from Ituano back in 2019 for just £6 million (Goal).

Nobody had really heard of the Brazilian then, but he took the Premier League by storm. He was incredible in his debut season at the Emirates.

Martinelli has gone from strength to strength over the years and is now one of the most feared wingers in Europe. He has the ability to cause problems for any full-back.

Mika Biereth, who revealed yesterday that Gabriel Magalhaes clattered him in training, has had the opportunity to work with the likes of Martinelli, Bukayo Saka and others at Arsenal.

When he was asked to name the best player in those sessions at London Colney, he quickly named the 22-year-old Brazil international.

“He’s just so quick and so sharp with everything that he does,” Biereth told iNews about Martinelli.

Biereth could become a star at Arsenal one day

We all know Gabriel Martinelli is a star at Arsenal, but Mika Biereth could reach the same levels in the coming years too.

The 21-year-old Dane scored six goals and provided five assists on loan at Motherwell in 14 starts in the first half of the campaign. He was then recalled and sent to Sturm Graz in Austria, where he has been excellent too.

Since his debut, Biereth has five goals and an assist to his name at Sturm Graz in just over 500 minutes of football. That is a brilliant return, and he is showing signs of real promise.

If Biereth continues to develop as he has done over the last few months, we think he will become a star at Arsenal in the coming years. There’s also a big chance he’ll get an opportunity next season.
