Arsenal hopeful Miguel Azeez has told Guillem Balague – as per The Mirror – that Sergio Busquets is his idol and he hopes to emulate Patrick Vieira.
The 17-year-old has been a regular in the under-18 ranks this season, whilst he’s also played twice for the under-23 team.
A central midfielder, Azeez will hope to impress Mikel Arteta, who has already shown a willingness to blood the club’s younger talent.

The English performer clearly sets his standards high and in an interview with Ballague mentioned his idol and the player who he models his game around.
In quotes picked up by The Mirror, he said: “One of my idols is Sergio Busquets. I think he has been the best holding midfielder for a very long time. He always seems to have space around him, always plays with his head up, one step ahead.
“For me, I like to put some of his game into mine.
“When players run at 100mph they can’t really look at what is going on and sometimes you need to play with a bit of composure. I always thought Patrick Vieira was good in that position too.”
Azeez will hope to continue performing well for the Gunners’ youth ranks with the intention of making the first-team grade.
He’s certainly at the right place for his development with Arsenal boasting a proud history when it comes to young talent.
Interestingly, the midfield at Arsenal could be in need of reinforcement.

Matteo Guendouzi has seemingly been banished from the first-team and Lucas Torreira and Granit Xhaka have proved inconsistent performers.
All Azeez can do is keep his head down and continue to shine for the development ranks.
If he can do that he stands every chance of emulating former Gunners hero Vieira.
