Reported Liverpool target Pedri has run further than any other player at Euro 2020, according to stats published by the Daily Mail.
Liverpool are said to have already made contact to sign Pedri from Barcelona (Daily Mirror), with the young midfielder really catching the eye at Euro 2020.
Barcelona’s financial struggles mean that they could find it difficult to keep hold of their top players.
A star of Euro 2020
And there is no doubting that Pedri’s profile has increased massively due to his performances at Euro 2020.
The reported Liverpool target has caught the eye for his quality on the ball.
But, perhaps, what hasn’t been noted is just how hard the 18-year-old is working off it.

Pedri has run over 4 kilometres further than any other player at the international tournament to date, although his Spain side did exit at the semi-final stage to Italy.
Those stats must appeal to Jurgen Klopp, who demands his side are one of the most hard working in the league.
But any Liverpool move will depend on the Reds submitting a significant offer to Barca, as Pedri’s release clause currently stands at £70 million.
