Everton have received a boost with new signing Fabian Delph having returned to first-team training.
The midfielder picked up a groin injury just five minutes into his debut for the club against Werder Bremen in pre-season.
But pictures released by the club on Wednesday showed the England international being put through his paces at Finch Farm.
There have been no updates about the player’s progress, and it is unclear if he will feature against Watford on Saturday, but the images are certainly encouraging.

Delph returning so soon could be timely, with Andre Gomes carrying a knock and Morgan Schneiderlin suspended for the Watford clash.
With Schneiderlin definitely not playing this weekend, Delph could well be in line for his competitive debut.
The £10 million man (BBC Sport) could be needed in the engine room, with new signing Jean-Philippe Gbamin having struggling in the first game against Crystal Palace.
The former Manchester City could provide some assurance in the middle of the park, as Everton go in search of their first win.
