Loaned-out Everton star Yannick Bolasie scored an equalising goal yesterday for Middlesbrough – and some Boro fans on Twitter were left raving about him.

Bolasie, 31, was sent out on loan by the Toffees in the January window, as he linked up with Championship club Boro until the end of the season.

The attacker came off the bench on Monday to score a late equaliser in a league match against Watford.

He popped up with a great diving header inside the box to get on the end of a Paddy McNair free-kick.

The Toffees loan man has started to find his best form lately, scoring one goal and supplying three assists in his last five appearances for Boro.

It seems unlikely that he can force his way back into the plans of Everton first-team boss Carlo Ancelotti, but the quick player is impressing in the Championship.

He’s a versatile forward that can play either centrally or out wide in the frontline, and it’s a sign of his confidence when he’s attempting skills like he’s the flair player he is.

A selection of Boro supporters on social media applauded Bolasie for his header yesterday, which was his first goal since his loan move to the Riverside Stadium.

With the trickster out of contract at the end of the season with Everton, it’ll be interesting to see which clubs try pick him up as a free agent.

He’s certainly been a positive mid-season signing for Boro, who look like falling just short in their bid to finish in the play-off positions.
