Tottenham Hotspur icon Micky Hazard says he’d love to see Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa at Spurs, believing his style of football would “sit beautifully” with fans.
Spurs are currently on the lookout for a new manager, having sacked Jose Mourinho in April.
Meanwhile, Bielsa has done superbly at Elland Road over the past three years, steering the club to promotion to the Premier League and enjoying a superb maiden season back in the top flight.

A number of managers have been linked with the Tottenham dugout, from veterans like Rafael Benitez to up-and-coming coaches like Graham Potter and Scott Parker.
Bielsa hasn’t been linked with Spurs, but Hazard would still love to see him in the dugout at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
When asked by Spurs Versus Podcast host whether Bielsa is the sort of manager Tottenham should be looking at, Hazard replied: “One million percent.
“I’d love to see Bielsa – because of the way he preaches the game which I think would sit beautifully with Tottenham.
“Our fans demand football be played in a certain way because that’s what they’ve experienced throughout history.
“I demand that we played in a certain way – again because I played that way, I was brought up in a team that played that way, I was brought up through the ranks that way, and that’s how this club needs to play football.”
TBR View:
Leeds were a mid-table Championship side when Bielsa took over and got them promoted as Championship champions in the space of two years before wowing fans and neutrals with an attractive and effective style of football that has seen them on track for a Premier League top-half finish.
The 65-year-old has a tendency to sign short contracts at clubs and his deal at Leeds runs until the end of the season, but given how well he has done at Elland Road and how great his relationship is with the fans, players and board, it’s extremely unlikely he’d leave the Whites for another Premier League club.
