Micky Hazard applauded Tottenham centre-forward Harry Kane after his performance on Thursday away to Bulgarian side Ludogorets.
Kane played the first-half of the Europa League group stage match before being substituted at half-time to make sure he’s fresh for the Premier League this weekend.
The 27-year-old opened the scoring with a bullet header, as well as assisting Lucas Moura’s goal in a 3-1 victory.
It was a historic night for centre-forward Kane, who has now scored 200 goals in 300 Spurs appearances and is continuing to smash records.
Ex-Spurs player Hazard was extremely impressed with his former side’s performance as a whole in the midweek European fixture and had to single out talisman Kane, who he’s described as “irreplaceable”.
TBR’s View:
There are a few players within the Spurs team that fit the ball of irreplaceable, with goal machine Kane certainly one of them and he appears to have taken his game up to another level yet again.
Him and teammate Heung-Min Son have been an incredible double act this campaign, plus Gareth Bale is now beginning to get back to fitness with more minutes on Thursday.
Kane is now up to 12 goals in all competitions already this season and will be looking to smash last season’s tally of 24, which was down on his usual standard due to a thigh injury mid-season.
