West Ham United’s academy has been a goldmine over the years.
Declan Rice is the most recent success story from the west London club, but prior to that, West Ham developed the likes of Rio Ferdinand, Frank Lampard, Michael Carrick and Jermain Defoe as well as a handful of the 1966 World Cup winners for England.
The Hammers have an incredible academy, and all eyes are on the next star to come up through the ranks.
Speaking to Pro Direct Soccer, Michail Antonio has named a couple of youngsters at West Ham worth keeping an eye on.

Michail Antonio hails two West Ham youngsters
Antonio spoke highly of both George Earthy and Lewis Orford.
Antonio claimed that Earthy is a quality player who will have a big career, while he noted that Orford is a brilliant midfield player with the ability to control a game.
“Who is one young player to keep an eye on?” Antonio was asked.
“To be fair everyone is young in the Premier League right now. Obviously Cole Palmer, last season he was unbelievable and he’s doing it again,” Antonio said.
“Mainoo at United, centre-mid, he’s started bossing it for England as well.
“George Earthy, he scored for us last season, he’s gone out on loan this year, but he’s quality. I think he’s definitely going to have a big career going forwards. Lewis Orford, he is quality in midfield, he controls the game, hard challenges and stuff like that.”
West Ham staff are excited about another youngster
Antonio named Earthy and Orford as two exciting youngsters coming through at the London Stadium.
However, there’s another young player West Ham staff are excited about.
Indeed, staff at West Ham are said to be very big on Airidas Golambeckis.
Golambeckis is a 16-year-old defender who looks to have a big future ahead of him, and people within the club believe he could have a lot of potential.
As for Earthy and Orford, both players look like they could be West Ham first-teamers in the future.
Who knows? Perhaps Orford could get a chance at West Ham in the coming weeks. After all, Guido Rodriguez is struggling in that midfield, and some new blood could be needed.
