Michael Vaughan has shared his thoughts on Leeds United and Marcelo Bielsa after the Whites claimed their fourth Championship victory in a row on Saturday.

The Elland Road side were up against Hull City and went into the game at the KCOM Stadium in superb form, having won their last three league games, all with clean sheets.

The Tigers, meanwhile, had not won in their last nine matches, with seven defeats and just two draws in that time.

In addition, two of their best players this season – Jarrod Bowen and Kamil Grosicki – left the club in January, so a game against the high-flying Whites looked like a tall order from the onset.

Indeed, Leeds didn’t take long to draw first blood against Hull as Luke Ayling rattled home a long-range effort which cannoned off Callum Elder en route to the back of the net in the fifth minute.

Pablo Hernandez then doubled the Whites’ advantage just two minutes into the second half, and Tyler Roberts made sure of all three points with a brace late on for a resounding 4-0 win.

The result put Leeds seven points clear of Fulham ahead of the 3pm kickoffs and Vaughan, a Sheffield Wednesday fan who isn’t particularly fond of Leeds, couldn’t help but praise them at full time.

Here is what the cricket legend said on Twitter:

Fans from Wednesday and Leeds alike then had their say:

Leeds are back in Championship action next Saturday when they take on Huddersfield Town at Elland Road.
