Michael Cuisance has insisted, in comments reported by Foot Mercato, that there was no problem with his Leeds United medical following reports that it led to the breakdown of his potential move to Elland Road.
Cuisance looked set to become a part of Marcelo Bielsa’s squad in the latter stages of the summer window.

The Daily Mail reported that an £18 million fee had been agreed with Bayern Munich. And it was suggested that he was set to sign a five-year contract with the Whites.
However, the move went on to fall through. According to Sky Sports, the 21-year-old failed a medical.

But, following his switch to Marseille, Cuisance hinted that he was in the dark as to why the move to the Premier League did not ultimately happen.
“There was no problem with the medical visit,” he said, as reported by Foot Mercato. “I had one in Marseille and it went really well. There was no problem on my end. Afterwards, I don’t know any more. Here I passed it and I am in good shape.”
Many Leeds fans will be keeping one eye on Cuisance’s progress in Ligue 1. It seemed to be a huge statement to be about to spend almost £20 million on the youngster and then hand him a five-year contract.
It highlighted that the Whites had incredibly high hopes for the Frenchman.
So it should perhaps be little surprise if he goes on to impress at Stade Velodrome. But it will only increase the intrigue as to why the Leeds move failed to materialise if he does prove to be a success.
