Micah Richards has told Match of the Day that Gabriel Jesus was sensational as Arsenal made it two wins from two on Saturday, beating Leicester City 4-2 at the Emirates.
The Gunners opened their account with a victory at Crystal Palace. Jesus did not score on that occasion. But he certainly provided a glimpse of why Arsenal decided to sign him in the summer.

He was electric at times. And his display prompted Rio Ferdinand to suggest that he was a joke at Selhurst Park.
The Brazilian did not have to wait too long for his first competitive goal for the Gunners either. Mikel Arteta’s side beat Leicester in some style on Saturday.

Jesus’ first goal was a moment of pure genius as he lifted the ball into the net. And his second was all about his anticipation, waiting on the back post to head home a simple chance.
‘He’s got everything’
The signing of Jesus clearly has the potential to be a transformative one for Arsenal. But it also appears to be a transfer that could also change the game for the striker.
Jesus is now the main man at the Emirates after years of struggling to step out of the shadows at Manchester City – despite his huge success. And Richards thinks that moving to North London could be helping the 25-year-old take his game to the next level.
“It was excellent, last week he didn’t get his goal. But today, on his home debut, he was sensational,” he told Match of the Day.
“Everything he did was just brilliant. Obviously, I’ve watched him a lot when he was at Manchester City. But for Arsenal, he seems a different player. He seems a lot more confident.
“He’s got everything.”
Gabriel Jesus was sensational
Obviously, Jesus has got a lot more to prove. Arsenal are two games into the new season. And they have played two sides who are probably going to finish around mid-table this year.
But he could have hardly done more in the opening two fixtures. He does appear to have stepped up another level since moving to the Gunners.
