Micah Richards labelled Leeds United’s performance during their 5-0 win against Stoke City on Thursday night a joy to watch in response to Kalvin Phillips’s Instagram post.
Marcelo Bielsa’s men have taken a step closer towards promotion by thrashing the Potters at Elland Road.

Leeds had gone into the game under some pressure after Brentford won on Tuesday and West Brom got the three points in their clash the following day.
And Whites fans would have been forgiven for being very nervous after the home side struggled to open the deadlock. Some superb blocks from the visitors denied Mateusz Klich, Patrick Bamford and Tyler Roberts.

But Leeds’s persistence eventually paid off. Helder Costa won a penalty just before the break, and Klich converted the spot-kick to put Leeds in front.
The first-half may have been nervy. But the second-half could have hardly been more different.
Costa poked home Leeds’s second shortly after the break. And it soon became a rout with Liam Cooper, Pablo Hernandez and Bamford all getting on the scoresheet.
The three points seemed vital for Leeds, who have returned to the top of the table. But the manner of the victory saw Bielsa’s side make a much bigger statement.
And unsurprisingly, Phillips was quick to take to social media to comment on the win.
