Micah Richards has told Match of the Day 2 that Patrick Bamford was excellent as Leeds United beat Leicester City on Sundau, and labelled his goal an extraordinary finish.
The Whites came from behind to beat the Foxes 3-1 at the King Power Stadium. And Bamford played a prominent role in each of their goals.

The first came after he slid Stuart Dallas in with the outside of his foot. And the third saw the striker set Jack Harrison up to make the points safe.
But the second was Bamford’s real moment to shine. The striker unleashed a thunderous shot into the far top corner after letting Raphinha’s pass run across his path.

And following the game, Richards expressed just how impressed he had been by Bamford’s performance against Brendan Rodgers’ men.
“He was excellent,” he told Match of the Day 2. “He mentioned that he’s been more efficient and I think he has. It’s his running. His running in behind, and look at this for a pass [his assist for Dallas’ goal], outside of his left foot.
“He’s got so much variation to his game. He’s just a clever striker. The technique to get it past Schmeichel, we know how good Schmeichel is, and it was just an extraordinary finish.”
Bamford – who earns £35,000-a-week, according to Spotrac – continues to silence all of those who doubted him before the season. Few would have expected that he would already be in double figures at this stage of the campaign.
And despite bagging his 10th goal before the turn of the year, some may have wondered whether his purple patch was over with the 27-year-old not scoring in four before Sunday.
But in truth, Bamford looked better than ever against Leicester.
