Former Barcelona and Mexico star Rafael Marquez has told Radio Formula that he would recommend Wolves striker Raul Jimenez to his former club.
The 28-year-old netted his 22nd goal of the season in all competitions as Wolves defeated Tottenham yesterday afternoon.
Marquez spent seven years at Barcelona playing 163 games for the Catalans giants. He won four league titles, one Copa del Rey and the Champions League twice.

The former central defender who was capped 147 times for Mexico would have no qualms about recommending his compatriot to Barcelona.
He told Radio Formula: “Obviously Raul is doing a great job and attracts attention, not only from La Liga but from all the important teams. If Barcelona asks me about him, he will 100 per cent be recommended.”
Jimenez signed permanently for Wolves in the summer for £30 million. He spent last season on loan at Molineux from Benfica and made the move permanent afterwards.
He has proved a revelation for Wolves and has 39 goals from 86 appearances for the Champions League hopefuls.
Marquez played with some tremendous players during his career and he clearly knows a good goalscorer when he sees one.
The player doing his best agent impression on behalf of Barcelona won’t delight Wolves supporters.

Jimenez is paid £41,000-a-week and is integral to the fortunes of Wolves.
Vital
If Wolves qualify for the Champions League it will be largely down to the goals of the Mexican and they will want him at the club next season.
Barcelona are likely to want a striker in the summer and it’ll be interesting to see if Marquez does put Jimenez in their sights.
Having paid £30 million for his services, he won’t come cheap. Wolves would be well within their rights to demand at least double for his services.
